My Fave Denim Jeans

Fashion is an instant Language.

Who doesn’t like Denim??? Well , for a minute I got carried away and forgot about all those old school uncles and aunties from India and Pakistan who wear formal pants to picnics and beach parties. They have sworn on the life of them never to touch jeans till their last breath because they think it is uncomfortable. I am sure if you are from that origin you can relate to this fact without a blink. Somebody, please tell them that the truth is otherwise and jeans are the most comfortable piece of clothing in the world provided it is in the right size and style for you.

Going forward, Denim jeans are literally the most worn clothing item in the world besides T-shirts and Sneakers (now this includes the recently westernized giant markets of China and India).

I finally figured out what I want to be when I am older. Younger.

For me, Jeans are home. Finding a good pair of jeans is always a struggle and that too a continuous one. My fave go-to brand for Jeans is 7 for all mankind. Although I have my fair share from Levis and Guess.

This time when I went to Lisbon, I passed by “Salsa” a shop quite famous for its Jeans. I am going to admit shamelessly that they had me the first time they mentioned “push up and pull in” which means push up the flat butt and pull in the muffin topped belly.  What else in the world could I ask for.  The only question was where had this brand been all my life and the answer is in Portugal since it is a true blue portugese brand.

Being happy never goes out of style.

I walked out with a pair of beautifully fitting cropped jeans which I can dress up or down as I please and I think I’m gonna live happily ever after in this pair for a long long time. It cost me around a US$100, but so worth it.

See for yourself and tell me if you agree with me?

Which is your fave brand for jeans?

I don’t design clothes. I design dreams.
